Match Scoring Algorithm

Fedly computes a relevance score (0-100) for each company-opportunity pair using multiple factors:

NAICS Code Alignment (40%): Primary matching signal based on NAICS code family matching.
Semantic Similarity (30%): AI embedding similarity between company capabilities and opportunity requirements.
Set-Aside Eligibility (15%): Boost if opportunity set-aside matches company certifications.
Contract Size Fit (10%): Alignment between contract value and company size.
Geographic Preference (5%): Match between place of performance and company location.

NAICS Code Family Expansion

NAICS codes are hierarchical. Fedly automatically expands NAICS codes to match related opportunities within the same industry family.

Data Source: All matching is performed on data aggregated from SAM.gov.
